This will be a fun event. It is nice to see another Tolbert chili event outside of Texas! See you in Beaverton and at the Tolbert State Championship in Astoria.

Mark Kenny informed me today that he and his son are coming. He sent off his entry form today. Mark is one of the founding members of the Oregon Tolbert Chili Posse... You cant miss him, he will be the one with the bull whip.See you in Aloha and Astoria. Tom, O.T.C.P.

Hi Y'all,

We need more teams to get to 15 and make this count towards terlingua, The legion will make available an inexpensive breakfast (biscuit, gravy, eggs or similar), and lunch (burgers - they have great beef patties). Their is also Cold Beer in the Legion Hall if you are of age and get thirsty. We may need at least 5 more teams. Bring your A game - Tom Rowe is cooking and took 2nd in Red Chili in Tacoma on Saturday.

BTW - experienced judges also needed - we want this to be a great event.
I plan on seating 12 judges total if we get a good team turnout.

See you there

Mark Kenny makes a pretty mean Texas stew himself. This will be his first event this year and he is stoked!
