I am the director of the Albany Visitors Association and four years ago my staff and I, in conjunction with the Albany Downtown Association decided to produce a festival (Willamette River festival) that included a BBQ Cook off.

I am sorry I have not said hello and welcome to the Gold Bar-BQ site before now. So welcome. I know that there is a lot of interest in the Albany BBQ cook Off. I am hoping along with the help of the KCBS you can pull enough teams to make this very special event a super success In the Northwest. If I can help in anyway please let me know.
