Introduce yourself, tell us all a little about you.
Born and raised in Hawaii, learned how to roast whole hogs in the ground and on a spit and love to grill all kinds of meat, fish and poultry. Retired Project Manager and have an array of various bbq equipment including spits to roast whole hogs and several hundred pounds of lava rock to do Hawaiian style pit bbq.

I will be judging at Pike Place this year. You will be very happy with the WSM it is what I and many teams use and have done well with it. Everyone with the big stick burners used to scar me but I have learned It’s not the cooker it the cook. If you feel you may not be ready to competition at Pike Place, a very good event for your first time would be PNWBA’s Spring Training in Seattle in May. It is a one day cook and a very good starter event. Keep an eye on the calendar for more upcoming information.

But I have been open with Big Kahuna's BBQ & Catering since 2003. Pinnapple and I go back some time too!
